Women in Finance Q3-2018 Lunch & Induction Ceremony

Women in Finance ng (WIFng), an advocacy, development and networking platform for women in the Nigerian financial sector and in finance roles held its Q3- 2018 Lunch event and Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Le Meridien Ogeyi’s Place, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

The lunch and induction ceremony hosted distinguished persons, including but not limited to the Chairman, Africa Prudential Plc, Chief Mrs. Eniola Fadayomi, the Executive Director – Corporate Strategy & Planning, Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company, Dr Chii Akporji, who is also the Key note speaker, and some other key women in finance roles. The theme of the event is “The Financial Empowerment of Women as a Tool for Economic Development.”

There was also an induction ceremony for new WIFng members. This further solidified the mission statement of the group; to advance the cause of women, pursue financial inclusion and financial literacy for women, and promote gender parity in the country.

Wifng leaders include Mrs Toyin Sanni Group CEO, United Capital as Chairman, Yemisi Tayo-Aboaba – Head, International Corporates, Global Banking at Standard Chartered Bank, Funmilayo Ekundayo, Managing Director, STL Trustees Limited, Bunmi Lawson, Fortis Microfinance Bank PLC, Oghogho Osula, Managing Director, Coronation MB Trustees Limited and Tokunbo Ajayi, Managing Director, United Capital Trustees Limited and Chief Mrs. Eniola Fadayomi, Chairman of Africa Prudential Plc who is on the Advisory Board.
